Pricing Policy

Any initial site fee would be deducted from the design fees if you commission a design.

The cost of a design will depend on the size of the garden and complexity of the design.

Planting Plans and Construction drawings are charged separately.

What you are paying for?

• Landscape Architects design
• For identifying and solving problems
• Using state-of-the-art design techniques
• Implementing our understanding of the external environment
• Expert knowledge of the functional and aesthetics of landscape materials
• The organisation of landscape elements, external spaces and activities

Design Consultation

Occurs on site with our clients and takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Here design options and the potential of your outdoor space can be fully discussed.

Following the consultation a written proposal is forwarded to you, with a cost estimate of the required design work.

Our design consultation fee* is payable at the time of the consultation.

Should you decide to commission a design, the consultation fee* is deducted from the final design fee.

Design fees vary according to the requirements and scale of projects.

EXAMPLE – A small garden approximately 100 sq/m would have up to three sketch designs with a concept plan and a final detail plan. (Indications of planting would be included but not a full planting plan.)The final design would be hand drawn, coloured and represented in 3D plan, allowing clients to feel and move around the space, illustrating exact details of the desired requirements. The integrity of the design allows for changes to materials, if required whilst still retaining the design. Approximate design cost- £250 for the garden design plan.

Garden Design plans start at approximately the following points:

• 100 sq/m   £250
• 200 sq/m   £350
• 400 sq/m   £450
• 800 sq/m   £550 plus

All prices include VAT.

What is not included?

The design fee excludes items such as planning application fees, land survey and soil testing charges. We will identify any such requirements and notify you should they be required.

The design fee also excludes plants and planting costs, which will be quoted separately. Project inspection on the clients behalf of contractors during the garden build stage will also be quoted separately, if required.
