An excellent place to start is by looking at the website of the Society of Garden Designers (www.sgd.org.uk). All those listed on their site are Registered Members or Fellows of the Society and will have a minimum of two years’ experience, have gone through a rigorous process of evaluation and proved they can carry out their work to a very high standard.
