About Us

Rachael Inchboard is a qualified Landscape Architect and an Associate Member of the Landscape Institute – the professional body for landscape architects.
Rachael combines her creativity with her professional technical training which she undertook at Leeds Metropolitan University, where she graduated with a 2.1 qualification and later a post graduate diploma.
Her combined experience includes workshops and lectures with organisations such as WHO (The World Health Organization).
Rachael founded the business with her small team and has three years practice experience, including work with local authorities, school ground facilitation, garden design, community consultations and educational consultations.
Rachael implements planning and design of the external environment using many different techniques and processes which can be utilised for different purposes and in different ways to ensure results that deliver client satisfaction.
Rachael’s specialist areas are:
- Access and Design for Disability
- Research, Planning, Design and Legislation.
- Sensory Navigation of Visually Impaired People.
- Semiotics Research.
- Play Environments including research in New York.
- Habitation – Planning and design.
Rachael’s focus lies in the way we experience our lives within the communities we live.
The function and aesthetics of different elements which make up our ‘known’ landscape and how they contribute to our quality of life and well being.
And how the creativity and function of our immediate environment and our perceptions of this, can enhance the way we go about our daily lives.
